COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL BUILT FOR EUGENE
If your athlete has outgrown recreational leagues and wants real competition, club basketball is the next step. Oregon Flight is the competitive club basketball program serving Eugene, Springfield, and the wider Lane County area. Our teams practice multiple times a week, travel to regional and national tournaments, and are coached by experienced program staff, not parent volunteers.
We run three levels of competition so there is a team for every stage of development. Flight Rise builds fundamentals and introduces tournament play. Flight Next competes at the state and regional level across Oregon and Washington. Flight National plays on the national circuit with college exposure and recruiting opportunities. Every player earns their roster spot at tryouts.
Club basketball at Oregon Flight is more than games. Tuition includes up to three Skills Academy training sessions per week, so athletes develop their handle, shot, and game IQ alongside team practice. It is the most complete competitive basketball pathway available to Eugene and Springfield families.

CLUB BASKETBALL FAQ
What is club basketball and how is it different from rec or school basketball in Eugene?
Club basketball is competitive, travel-team basketball run by an independent program rather than a school or parks department. Oregon Flight club teams hold tryouts, practice multiple times per week, and travel to regional and national tournaments. Rec and school leagues in Eugene (like Kidsports or middle-school ball) are usually open-registration, play locally, and emphasize participation over competition. Club basketball is the right fit for players who want stronger coaching, higher-level competition, and a pathway toward high school and college basketball.
When are Oregon Flight club basketball tryouts in Eugene?
We hold tryouts ahead of each season. Fall tryouts run in late summer, winter tryouts take place in October, and spring/summer tryouts are announced in the spring. Tryouts are held at West Coast Strength in Springfield. Register on our tryouts page to lock in your evaluation spot and receive date, time, and location details by email.
How much does club basketball cost in Eugene with Oregon Flight?
Oregon Flight club teams are $975 for the season, which can be split into two monthly payments of $487.50 or three monthly payments of $325. New players also choose a one-time team kit add-on (from $100). Tuition includes up to three Skills Academy sessions per week, a 10 to 12 game season, tournament and league play, coaching, and player development. We offer scholarship and coach-discount codes for families who qualify, applied at checkout.
